Hi, I’m Yoana, the owner of It’s Me Store. A few times each season I go shopping to see the new collections in person and choose what comes to our store. Here are the trends I saw everywhere this fall and holiday season, and how you can wear them.
A day shopping with me
Come along with me as I pick new pieces for the store: from the first stop of the day to the seasonal displays and a runway set for a fashion show.
1. Polka dots are everywhere
If there is one print that owned this season, it is polka dots. I saw them on satin, on knits, on matching sets and on dresses, mostly in chocolate brown, cream, butter yellow and baby blue. The look feels classic and feminine at the same time.

2. Holiday sweaters with personality
Cozy knits with a festive detail are the easiest way to look ready for the holidays: a Christmas tree with a velvet bow, a teddy bear in a Santa suit. Pair them with a mini skirt and boots for a party, or with jeans for family photos.

3. Sequins for every celebration
Sequin mini dresses came in deep burgundy, soft pink and even ombre. Burgundy was the color of the season, and it works just as well for Christmas dinner as for New Year’s Eve.

4. Faux fur collars and warm neutrals
Long coats with faux fur collars in camel and chocolate brown looked elegant over floral midi dresses. Brown tones in general, from mocha to espresso, are this season’s new neutral.

5. Americana knits
Flag sweaters in navy and cream were a fun surprise. They are easy to style with denim and will carry you from fall into the Fourth of July.
